I am an artist blacksmith using traditional methods to make modern hand-forged ironwork and sculpture. Using fire, hammer, and the anvil I hand forge hot steel and wrought iron into sculptural ironwork and functional artwork. The iron is heated to 2000 degrees and formed using custom made hammers and tools. Each piece is individually made and I mostly use recycled steel in my work to give materials a second chance at life. I learned my craft from several European and American blacksmiths and my work blends ancient ironworker skills with modern designs to create nature-inspired pieces.
