What day(s) and hour(s) will Maker Faire Syracuse be open to the public?

Maker Faire Syracuse will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10 – 4pm.

Are group rates available?

You will be able to purchase up to 20 tickets per ticket type when ticket sales open. If you have additional questions about bringing a group to the faire please email us at syracusefaireinfo@gmail.com.

Where can I park?

Parking lots in front and on the side of the Horticulture Building at the NYS Fairgrounds will be open available for parking.

Where is the handicap parking located?

Handicap parking is available in all lots.

Where can I park my bus?

Bus drop off is in front of the Horticulture Building for attendees. Bus parking is TBA.

Is public transportation available?

Public transportation is not available.

Will you have bike parking?

Yes. We will have indoor parking available. The Erie Canal Museum staff and volunteers will be overseeing this area and providing information about cycling opportunities on the Erie Canal Trail. There are also bike racks throughout the NYS Fairgrounds. Onondaga Cycling Club will also led a no-drop ride to and from the fairgrounds starting at Reed Webster Park in Camillus. You can find more details about the ride on our schedule page. We also have an interactive bike map and static static map for this ride. *Helmets Required*

What about food?

We will have food trucks in the parking lot outside the Horticulture Building and concessions inside.

Where can I stay?

There are many hotels and other accommodations available in Syracuse. However, there is a special group rate for those attending our Faire at Holiday Inn Express in Warners, NY. To secure the group rate of $179/night, please make your reservation by April 5, 2024.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Unfortunately you can not bring your dog to the faire. There are exceptions for service animals.

What if it rains?

The show will go on! Bring rain gear to keep you dry when walking outdoors. Fortunately, most of our exhibits and activities are indoors to keep the family dry.

What can I expect?

To have a fantastic time! You’ll be surprised and intrigued with every corner that you turn.

Is this age appropriate for my children?

YES! This Maker Faire is appropriate for ages 2-99!!
