Karen Trapasso

Karen Adams Trapasso has loved teaching Academic Writing and being a Reading Specialist in the West Genesee Central School District for the last 24 years. Her goal is to open children’s minds to the possibilities of becoming all they can be. As well as to show them the excitement of learning and how it is a lifelong journey. She feels that all children, regardless of need or ability, can learn given strong opportunities and instruction. Karen continues taking courses to gain new knowledge she can then share with her students. This is her first year as a Daisy Girl Scout Troop Co-Leader which she is thoroughly enjoying. She is a wife and mother to a first grade daughter Ava.
