Fun with glass
Glass art is a great art and some can be done at home with paints and dollar store glass and your oven. Glass etching, too, can easily be made at home. Fused glass is made from special stained glass, cut to form designs and baked in a kiln.

I have been working on fused glass for the last seven years at the Eye Studio in East Syracuse. Creativity is encouraged and help is always available for students. The painting of glass is a fun activity I have done at home because the mugs I desired were either way out of my price range or boring. The acid etch on glass was a cheaper way of creating as I could not afford a sand blaster.
